What are we doing together?

SingleKey and Openroom are partnering to empower landlords with more information about their prospective tenants so they can safely choose the best fit for their rental property. This means that court orders from Openroom’s extensive, crowdsourced database will be collected in a detailed tenant screening report from SingleKey, providing landlords with enhanced data to identify potential tenant red flags. 

What is SingleKey?

SingleKey is a digital platform that offers tenant screening and rent guarantee services to small landlords so they can get all the verified tenant data they need to make an informed decision while protecting their rental investments from tenant defaults.

What is Openroom?

Openroom aggregates tenancy court orders across Canada, extracts information from them, and puts it to public use by individuals like yourself. It is a must-use platform to do the first check on who you are renting to and who you are renting from. Openroom offers searches for Canadian court orders related to tenant and landlord disputes, as well as reporting rental debt into the Equfax to negatively impact credit history.

What does it look like?

Openroom shows up within the section for public searches on the SingleKey Tenant Screening Credit Report.
